Jason Peck’s memory of his childhood has some missing images: running, jumping, swinging, and sliding into home.
Although Peck, who received a dermatomyositis diagnosis at age 4, missed out on playing ball in the backyard with his buddies, he discovered early on that he had a talent his speedy friends didn’t — the ability to draw rather well. And he’s never looked back.

Wherever he went, Scott Crane spread joy.
At the Corner Bakery Café where he worked, he was known for being helpful and kind. When he volunteered for MDA and other organizations, he was always upbeat and enthusiastic. Even during long hospital stays due to respiratory issues, he remained cheerful and positive.
“Spread smiles to everybody everywhere each and every day,” was one of his mantras.
