SmartKnit AFO liners

SmartKnit AFO

Make sandals and other seasonal footwear an option with these specially designed liners, available in black, white and tan, that let wearers cover the brace, not the leg. Designed by Nona Leatherwood Maxwell, who has Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, these moisture-wicking, antimicrobial liners create a breathable, protective cushioning shield between skin and the AFO, reducing shearing, chafing or dermatitis from heat and moisture. Corespun Spandex yarn eliminates wrinkling and bunching, and helps to prevent pressure sores. A range of sizes is available for children and adults. Priced from $13.50 to $16.50. For information: AFO Liner, (405) 245-9307, or www.afoliner.com.
